Dear Parents,

We are happy to inform you that online  classes will be resumed from the  coming week . To make the sessions more interactive and thereby more effective,  we have shifted the platform from WhatsApp to Google Classroom and Google Meeting. I am sure students will enjoy the live demonstration and interaction with teachers on these platforms. For online classes class wise time tables will be given on the WhatsApp group. Students are expected to attend classes in school uniforms (except for new entrants) according to the time schedule.

Kindly download Google Classroom and Google Meet for  your wards on to their mobiles/desktops/Laptopsthat he/she will be using.  Kindly do not buy any laptop/ mobile for this purpose. Resources in the family will need to be shared judiciously. You may use the WhatsApp group for easy communication. Again no purchase of phone/SIM is required for this purpose if your wards does not have own.

 Dear Parents,

We have received some queries regarding online classes .We are passing through a difficult time where we are also concerned about our students. In this situation we cannot put them in a limbo. To channelize their energy in positive ways we are upgrading our online classes in Google platforms. We scheduled the classes very much like school timing. We understand the difficulty when there are more than one students in a family. That is why teachers are uploading videos on Google classroom parallelly, so that if a student miss out a class, they can see the video at later date. We are not insensitive to this situation and understand that we have greater responsibility towards our students. Therefore we are taking certain steps to tide over these turbulent times. A gist of the initiatives that we are taking to benefit all concerned are given below:  

1) The school has ensured that teachers are  comfortable on online platforms and become adept at taking classes on the same. They have been using innovative measures to teach through these mediums .

2) Online videos exclusively prepared by our teachers are uploaded on Google classroom.

3) Assignments are given regularly for practise.

4) Feedback form has been generated for upgradation of platform.

 

We look forward to the time when all of us can return to school and resume our normal activities.  Meanwhile we must keep up our children’s spirits and ‘soldier on’.

Corona pandemic is yet not over. In this situation 

our school is running with skeletal staff under the instruction of the state government and the ICSE. We are in touch with our students through online classes and attending to your queries through email, WhatsApp communications and phone calls instead of personal meetings, and shall be continuing doing so.

On International Yoga Day, 2020

Students it is time to have some fun and learn some values at the same time. Bharat Academy and Sciences takes pride in presenting to you a special and memorable activity during the International Yoga Day. It is time to take out those house dresses from your almirahs and closets and post your pictures or videos performing the exercises with perfect postures. Along with the performance of yogas, it will be really good if you mention a few words about the benefits of yogas and pranayams . Send these to your Class Teacher’s Mail id attached herewith. Let’s Have Some Fun

Hello students.

We hope that all of you are doing fine and enjoying the online classes. 

You will be pleased and thrilled to hear that Bharat Academy and Sciences is going to arrange a fun activity for you. The following are some of the activities which will be arranged for you. 

 

 Nursery to kg 2 :-

Name two important healthy foods which we need in our diet and post their pictures.

 

 I-IV :- Write about four healthy habits which we must practice. These habits should be really important to us

V-VII:- Create a poster/ drawing/ collage on the "Today school is inside the phone". Post a picture of the poster/ collage/ drawing.

NOTICE - VANAMAHOTSAVA CELEBRATION

Dear Students ,

We are glad to announce that Bharat Academy & Sciences is celebrating "Vanamahotsava Week" from 02.07.2020 to 07.07.2020. Participation is mandatory for all the students from Classes V to X. 

Students need to collect and plant the following saplings as mentioned here according to their classes at their own residence. 

Class V - Flowering plants

Class VI - Medicinal plants

Class VII-VIII - Fruit plants/ Vegetable plants

Class IX-X - Ornamental plants/  Herbs

 

Students need to label a pot, mentioning their Name,Class,  Name of the Plant and Date.They shall take care of that plant till they plant it  in the school garden.

 

Photographs of plantation need to be sent to the respective Class Teacher’s mail id by 05.07.2020 positively.
