Admission Criteria

Admission for the academic year 2015-16 will commence in January 2015. Parents/Guardians can obtain the Admission Forms from the School office at Banitabla, Uluberia on payment of Rs. 100/- on all working days including Saturdays, from 10 am to 3.30pm.

Admission will be granted to candidates only if they fulfill the age criteria given below:

1) Application Form to be filled in BLOCK LETTERS and submitted in person at the school office at Banitabla, Uluberia on all working days between 10 am and 3 pm.

2) Application and admission documents should be understood and signed by legal custodian of student (father/mother/guardian)

3) Incomplete Application Form, non submission of important and relevant documents and submission of false information will lead to cancellation of application as well as admission of child.

4) Date and venue of interaction will be intimated during submission of application form. However, dates may be changed if necessary.

5) The Acknowledgement/Admit card must be brought by the student at the time of interaction.

6) The following documents must be submitted:

» Photocopy of the Birth Certificate of the student for Date of Birth (Corporation/Municipality/Panchayat/Passport)

» Report Card of the last examination, Transfer Certificate of the previous school, if applicable

» 4 passport size photographs of student

» 2 passport size photographs of father, mother & legal guardian

7) For admission into Nursery to KG II, children will be engaged in group activities and admission to classes I – IV will be based on interaction and elementary activities.

8) For admission to class V – VII, students will have to appear for written aptitude assessment in English, Mathematics and Science

9) Candidate’s conversational/communication skills in English will also be assessed (for all classes except Nursery to KG II)

10) Based on the availability of seats, admission will be granted after an interview of the parents and the child. Interaction with the Principal in person is mandatory prior to confirmation of admission. The Management is the final authority regarding the confirmation of admission.

11) The admission list will be put up on the Notice Board of the school Office and will be available on the school website also. Date will be given on the day of interaction.

12) On confirmation of admission, the Admission Fee and Caution Deposit must be paid within 15 days’ time or else admission shall stand as cancelled. In case of any withdrawal after admission procedure is completed, the Admission Fee paid is non-refundable. (Secretary to approve)

13) The following documents should be submitted at the time of admission of the student to the school

» 4 individual passport size colour photographs of student

» Residential Address Proof of father/mother/legal guardian with whom student is residing

» Photocopy of Aadhar card/Pan card/Voter’s card/Passport of father/mother/guardian with whom student is residing.

» Photocopy of Pan card/Voter’s card/Passport/Aadhar card of student (if available).

» Declaration Form

» Student Health Form all filled and signed

» Transport Request Form (if applicable)

14) Students promoted to the subsequent class are eligible for admission on submission of Transfer (TC) duly countersigned by the appropriate authority and the Report Card of the lower class. TC if not submitted at the time of admission, is to be submitted within 30 days of commencement of academic session, failing which the student is liable for withdrawal

15) Withdrawals:

» All withdrawals from the school can be made only on a written request for the same by the parents/legal guardian of the child to the Principal. It should state the reason for the student leaving the school and proposed date of leaving.

» Transfer Certificate application must be submitted one calendar month in advance before the academic year ends or else fees for the next academic year will be charged.

» Transfer Certificate will be furnished only after two weeks and on payment of all dues.
